I was talking with my brother this afternoon and asked if he and his girlfriend will be offended if I do something.
He said, "I won't."
What about her?
"She'll be offended no matter what you do."
He said, "I won't."
What about her?
"She'll be offended no matter what you do."

Some people are always looking for reasons to be pissed off. That way they have an excuse for being a self-absorbed jerk.
I don't suppose it would make it any less shitty a situation if I said that it probably didn't have so much to do with you as with her own insecurities....

At least he knows that she's like that. And it doesn't sound like he's happy about it. Maybe that's a good thing...
